Training of personnel on monitoring of environmental effects

9 -12 May 2017, Mountain View Hotel, Leribe

The Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture, through the Support for the Implementation of National Biosafety Framework for Lesotho, funded by United Nations Environment Programme – Global Environment Facility (UNEP/GEF) conducted training on monitoring environmental effects of genetically modified organisms with the aim to introduce participants to monitoring concepts associated with genetically modified organism activities. The participants were from various institutions; Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture and Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
