Workshop for Media Practitioners on Effective Communication of Biotechnology and Biosafety

11 – 13 December 2017, The Castle Rock, Mohale’s Hoek

The Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture, through the Support for the Implementation of National Biosafety Framework for Lesotho, funded by United Nations Environment Programme – Global Environment Facility (UNEP/GEF) conducted a workshop for Media Practitioners on effective communication of biotechnology and biosafety and the decision making process of genetically modified organisms with the objective to communicate validated information to the readers and listeners. The workshop was attended by journalists from both electronic and print media.
