Training of personnel on handling requests or application

The Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture, through the Support for the Implementation of National Biosafety Framework for Lesotho, funded by United Nations Environment Programme – Global Environment Facility (UNEP/GEF) conducted training on handling requests or applications, with the aim to give the participants a better understanding of the biosafety system in the Kingdom of Lesotho including the institutional framework. The participants were from various institutions; Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Non-Governmental Organisation.
