Training of national scientists on LMO detection

03 – 06 February 2020, National University of Lesotho, Roma

The Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture, through the Support for the Implementation of National Biosafety Framework for Lesotho, funded by United Nations Environment Programme – Global Environment Facility (UNEP/GEF) conducted training on sampling preparation and LMO detection, with the aim to equip laboratory staff in qualitative and quantitative GMO detection and to guide them through practical session in which they test the knowledge imparted to them. The participants were from various institutions; Department of Agricultural Research and National University of Lesotho.
